Forge Werks, a Polargy Company, is expanding its manufacturing footprint in Connersville, Indiana, with a second location adding 250,000 square feet of production space.
The Western Avenue facility is the latest investment in Forge Werks’ continued growth. It will significantly expand capacity for data center skids, fabricated assemblies, and other high-capacity steel manufacturing projects. With this addition, Polargy’s total manufacturing footprint will exceed 800,000 square feet of data center white and grey space manufacturing.
The new facility will initially add six weld lines, joining the four weld lines already operating at Forge Werks’ existing Connersville location. Together, the two facilities will give the company greater capacity to support growing customer demand and larger production programs.
Expanding Data Center Manufacturing Capabilities
The Western Avenue expansion includes added capacity and new equipment designed to increase speed, precision, and the range of work the facility can complete.
A new Mazak FG-400 NEO 6kW 3D Fiber Laser will significantly expand tube, pipe, and structural steel processing capabilities. Forge Werks is also adding a large-scale blast and powder coat system that can handle assemblies up to 66 feet long.
Together, these investments give customers a more streamlined path from raw material through fabrication and finishing, reducing handoffs, improving quality control, and keeping complex projects moving with one partner.
Built for Growth
The Western Avenue facility also gives Forge Werks room to keep expanding, with additional space available to support future growth.
That space could support future integration and assembly work, allowing Forge Werks to expand the range of services available to customers as demand grows. As a Polargy Company, growth also strengthens Polargy’s broader manufacturing platform and capacity for data center and critical power projects at scale.
